Here's a photo from this past Sunday. It's of a mature red-tailed hawk giving me the once over. I've had juvenile and immature birds get curious about me and make multiple close passes for a good look. But the mature birds tend to give me a wide berth once they're aware of my presence. This bird made several close passes, which made for a productive morning at the Mormon Lake Overlook.
