OK, I will play.
I was pretty shocked at the quality of the pictures my iPhone 14 produced when I first got it. with 3 lenses and all that electronic wizardry, I makes really good out of camera shots. I even left my dedicated camera at home last time I went back to the UK. The family sort of pictures were great.
But with a dedicated camera like my Z7, or D850, I can do things my iPhone cannot do. I shoot Raw, and shadow recovery is much better than I could ever get from an iPhone JPEG. I can use specialized lenses such as my set of shift lenses, that are not available on a cell phone camera. Post processing produces better results with a Raw file, especially a large sensor Raw file.
I guess for me they are just two different tools.
I challenge anybody to do something like this with the same tonal range and noise levels, with a cell phone.
It's clear that smartphones are gaining ground every year.
I've had a lot of fun making comparisons - over a dozen of them!
From iPhone 3G (2008) / Lumix G1 (2008) first iPhone and first MFT

to the iPhone SE (2022) and my Fujifilm X-T5 (2022)

But not many photographers will be working with a smartphone at the next Olympic Games. 😉
This is an interesting comparison, though I would need a more controlled experiment for real evaluation. The problem is that for a real comparison, one needs the same aperture and field of view, etc.
The phone is f/2.4, 26mm, and there is only focus on the first "kids at play" sign. The horizon is not level. On the other hand, the camera is f/7.1, 39mm, and on the "Restrooms/Chapel" notice it is well in focus, though more distant objects are not in focus, unfortunately.
Regarding the composition, the narrower image of the camera is better in my opinion, as the extra at the sides is not very interesting; but this could be achieved with the phone by cropping.
I have seen excellent photos made with phones, but on this particular experiment I am not convinced that the phone is as good as the camera.

Phones are for talking. Not for music listening, not for movies, and most of all, not for photography except in cases where it is for documentation. I detest the ruddy things with a passion. The argument's about camera verses phones has been done to death several times over on other forums.
I use mine mostly as a watch, for seeing what the weather is like outside, also to control my humidifier. I dont think of it as a camera at all and usually leave it at home unless I am driving, The "bell" is more often than not on "silent".

Phone 1 - Real camera 0
We need to know which championship 😀
Without thinking too much I came up with these:
- Price Championship
- Weight Championship
- Image quality championship
- Readiness Championship
- Championship of available accessories
- Championship of photographic genres you can do
I fixed the error you made above. A simple Sony RX100 series camera [ eight versions- take your pick] excels any of those above...
Wise man...

So we can add this one to the list:
- Photography championship at DCA airport carrying large suitcases.
SM-N975U/SAMSUNG vs EOS R/CANON
And the winner is ..... Cell phone team, with SM-N975U/SAMSUNG
If anyone else took part in this championship, can you tell us the result?

It is nothing but a delusional 'championship' by peeps who have fallen prey to advertisements that brainwash.
