    Mocha,

    I liked your singing robin.
For some reason, I see a single line through your exif description on each photo.

    Mocha,

    Excellent photos as usual. :-)

How are you able to unload the images? I'm going to try the "upload file" from the menu. That may answer my question. Do you know if we can edit our text? I make too many typos. :-)

Oh, I see the edit button, so I could edit this. :-) I'm now going to try the "insert into message" button.

I did not see any EXIF data, which happened when I posted with Dpreview. For those that want to know...this was taken with a Canon T7i (800D) camera and a Tamron 150-600mm lens. The F-stop was F8, the shutter speed was 1/640, the ISO was 4000 and the focal length was 600mm. It was a dark cloudy day on January 28, 2023, which was the reason the ISO level is so high.

    Dig,

The full size picture of your photo is pretty darn impressive.
I don't think the owners of this forum have the exif software just yet.
You have to manually provide it as you did.

    Hi Dunlin,

Good to see your 'spring blossom'. I think I've sussed the strike through on my first photos now <Smiley>.

    Steve,

Thanks. We may have to have Mocha explain how is program works again until there is a way to read the EXIF data.

    Dunlin,

It's nice to see you here as well. :-) Are you going to be able to show some of your recent Scotland trip photos here?

Yes, you are successful...great photos. :-) Until this forum can read the EXIF data, will you be able to explain how your program works again? I am using IrfanView. I wonder how programmatically I could transfer segments of the EXIF data into text form, to then transfer that to here (as you do). IrfanView gives us the ability to copy the EXIF data to the "clipboard". From there, we should be able to put it on maybe MS Word and then go from there. Any ideas?

    Hi Digirame,

I didn't know IrfanView would do that, Exif Data wise. I created a program to do it because I knew of nothing else that would do it for me and used it ever since to show the things I wanted people to see without showing the exact location where it was taken as the 7D mkII does. I've PM'ed you on DPReview with a download link to my Exif tool.

OK...thanks Mocha. I'll take a look at it. As an alternate way to do it, I copy & pasted the EXIF data in MS Word from the clipboard. I was trying to record a macro, but I couldn't select the lines to copy. I don't write VBA code for MS Word, so it's new to me. I just need to copy lines 3, 13, 14, 16, 27 and 47 to the bottom looping through an array (I think that will work). In time I'll figure out the syntax for that (I hope). It's a new challenge. I hope your way is better. :-)

    Hi stevet1, Thanks.

I think I've sorted it, I wasn't leaving an empty line between the wording and the picture. This is all new to me.
