Heh. Be happy for Safety Base. Means it isn't the original nitrate base. Film used to be about as stable as nitro glycerine and exploded about as well. Danged stuff was so likely to blow up that people would be banned from public transportation when carrying it.
And, if you don't like photographic terminology, stay far away from electronics. And anything automotive. And, well,.everything else of a technical nature. Stick to rocks. Actually,.geology has a bunch of specialized terminology as well.
And never go near the world of medicine. They have everything else beat six ways from Sunday when it comes to terminology....

Sorry, but there's honesty and downright nastiness. The comment "your images suck" is not an honest comment - it's your opinion and expressed in a nasty way. In this site, a comment like that will get moved out.

as i said, its a growing problem with society, just look at all the disruptive and bad mannered children at our schools now, the problem is the parenting and the minority with the biggest voice that think they actually now how to deal with the problem when they are the problem. had a good discussion with my extremely well educated daughter thats a teacher, she has been comparing school systems from high-end private, religious, state/public and now Steiner schools (which she said were the best mannered that actually asked questions and wanted to learn). she studied to be a biology/science teacher not a baby sitter teaching manners. our photography club has gone the same way, it has gone to pieces because of nanny opinions on what is a good and bad image, the decline of work and the leaving of good photographers is proof of a floored system. another good radio discussion last night about youth crime, a minority group of parents in power are to blame for putting the wrong discipline measures into force, our latest state election just got rid of the party which has done nothing to curve my thoughts and hopefully the next will be strong enough to stick with what people want eg: black and white 😊
