    My sight is more-or-less OK, but I find the pink warning/information signs with mid-grey text very difficult to read (the black text is fine). I would think it would be nearly impossible for a red-green colourblind person to read (and to some extent, that’s 10% of the male population). Any chance of a change of background colour?

    Not to be pedantic, but… globally, 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women have some form of color vision deficiency.

    I could see this at 100 yards. lol

    You’re being pedantic :-)

    …and incidentally, your image didn’t display.

    Yes Alan, I was joshing with you… sorry about that.

    Regarding the image: I placed it inline and deleted the thumbnail attachment… which I find really annoying, as clicking on the image will enlarge it.
    I can see it (only) when logged in.

    Here is the image hosted from my online web-gallery.

    As was I…

    This is what I’m talking about…. I’ve just had operations on both my eyes and whilst I can see it well now, I never could have read the grey text previously. It’s made me a lot more conscious of this kind of thing.

    Which I’m sure you will agree isn’t all that clear.

    Yes, that is definitely BAD

    Hope that your operations are a success.

    May be something like this will be easier on the eye, just a quick css change I think

    #misago-container .event-body {
        margin: 20px 0;
        background-color: rgb(255, 245, 245);
        padding: 10px;
        border-radius: 3px;
        border-left: 5px solid red;
    }

    Oh, at my age I support this kind of complaint. It seems to be common to go for good looking trendy colors like light gray on darker gray. You can find that everywhere now. I need to wear glasses and switch on all light to see the settings of my oven, although I can read a book without glasses if needed. As photographers we should be aware of the meaning of contrast. It is there to make things stand out.
