Amaltas tree. [Indian Laburnum, Cassia Fistula]

This tree is quite a sight to behold in Summer...so beautiful they look with the profuse flowers hanging like ornaments! And when there is a light breeze...it is just spectacular to watch them sway and move with the wind!

Also, this tree has quite a few medicinal uses in the Ayurvedic system.

I'm not sure if it's the same variety as we have around here:

They DO appear to be different Don. The structure of the leaves and flowers are distinctly unique in both variants.
