    With a now discontinued Lumix GX9, and a 12-35 f2.8 II. Yeah, the bokeh is a tad nervous.

    Is that yellow flower a real flower?

    I think if you could shoot in another angle to have a further away background, the bokeh might appear more comfortable. As we know , DoF is not the strength of M43 :-)

    It's absolutely real. Another side of the same No47-3.jpgflower, which closes at nighttime and opens in the morning. Here it's just beginning to open.

    First time I saw one of those in the flesh, my then little daughter asked me to pick the fruit. So I did. Spent the rest of the holiday regretting it. The very fine hair like spikes are almost impossible to get out - and they itch like crazy.

    A lot in the desert southwest has spikes or spines and more, though water not so much.

    They are very interesting.

    In my region I could find small to tiny flower on those plants only...
