I am a maximalist, use the perfect tool for the job. Don’t really care about that hipster Cali minimalism philosophy. I own more than 10 cameras, but just one Leica. Love it. It is different.

I am jealous
The Leica M8, I want one since it came out in 2006, unfortunately, the price calms me down a bit.
I would also like the M9 (2009) and the M- Monochrom (2012)👍🏻

I bought my M9-P (made in 2012) directly at Leica Wetzlar via Customer Service in Oct 2019, when Leica retrieve those cameras from their stores around the world and put them new sensors, new shutters, and our choice of leather skins, what they called "a-la-carte". Basically, I got a new camera, 100% perfect.
However, I have a sweet spot for my M8, I took some of my favorite images ever with it. You should give it a try someday!

I would like, one day maybe, if I can find one at a reasonable price.
But reasonable and Leica don't go together very well. 😆
