No, they are two pretty young ladies.
A trick, if you have difficulty distinguishing between two people, look at the ears!
It's the place where it's easiest to see the differences.

That's a great trick... if they're pointy, they're an elf, if they are round they are human! Or were you talking about something different? 😉

I remember from the little bit of theory about drawing that I've learned, that ears are among the most challenging things to draw for most people... couldn't verify that myself, because I found everything challenging. 😓

That's a great capture. Love the light and the different expressions! You seem to have a great ability of capturing people as 'real humans' (for lack of a better word), not only as performers/models.
