All of the cubs in this pride has nice round tummies from a recent meal.

We weren't on a photo-centric safari but our driver/guide/naturalist was extremely skilled in all three of those, and very open to direction about what was important to my wife and I. And with only the two of us as his only clients for three days, there's a lot that can be accomplished. It's a huge privilege to be able to properly work a subject.
This little guy spent at least 20 minutes hovering upside down in order to not tug at the grass blades as he was putting on the finishing touches at the bottom of the nest. I have no doubt that he was able to suitably impress the right lady.

Great to see you here, Jack! I'm hoping for a general migration of the principal contributors.
Both of those shots above were with the 500 PF on the Z9.
Also making the trip were a Z7, 24-200, and 20/1.8S used once for my 5 am Milky Way side goal. After considering several other lenses the superzoom made the cut because it fit so well in my highly condensed camera case (a medium F-Stop liner, toted inside a ski boot bag). Some may think of the 24-200 as a down-level optic but it delivered on many occasions. Sometimes you just need the flexibility of framing. We spent half an hour with the Land Cruiser stuck between 2 logs, an easy fix that did require somebody to exit the vehicle. But this gentleman was keeping company with us 10 feet away:

In DP Review I was "just Tony". While registering here in DPRevived I had the same "Not Available" difficulties as many others, and I went with my 2nd choice option of "TonyA". Today I changed my user name to get back to the more familiar "justTony".
