    I don't know if this thread belongs here or in site feedback but I'll try here first.

    A photo acquaintance contacted me for help because he knows I am a member here, and he is having difficulty registering for the site. He gets the response that he should await an email link to complete registration but the link has not arrived and is not in this junk folder. He tried emailing the address listed for "help" (management@DPRevived.com) and got no response.

    I asked him to try to just log in with the email and password he entered, and he says he did but it did not work (that worked for me when the site first opened). Is there another email he should be using to ask for help in registering? Is registration working as one would expect? I don't mean to get in the middle of other people's site use issues, but I wanted to help connect him to Support if I could.

    I don't know who looks after that email address, but if he emails me (alansh52 (at) outlook.com) - or if you can tell me which username he is trying to use, I will investigate

    Thank you Alan, I'll pass this on and try to get out of the middle. Middlemen often confuse things. I appreciate your quick response.

    Not that it is any of my business, but that email for "help" is posted on the site, and it might be a good idea for someone to check on it, as there is no other easily findable way for a non registered person to contact an admin to request help. I ran a forum once that had a similar problem and we missed a bunch of potential members who got hung up in the verification process and lost interest by the time we found it and fixed it.

    @minniev

    The management help address is printed in grey at the bottom of every single page here at dprevived

    It’s summer and a weekend… folk are out doing stuff and not sitting at their computers waiting for emails +if you or your buddy are in the US there will be a time delay as most of the staff here are based in the UK

    I don't know this gentleman well enough to call him a buddy and don't know what country he lives in. He first contacted me Wednesday and said he'd waited for a while for a response, but didn't say how long. I'm just trying to connect him to someone who can help, which Alan did.

    I'll check with Bob to see who looks after that email.
