fujirumors reporting a new GFX coming 2023. I hope Fuji does following:

    1. 9-12MP EVF
    2. Tilt EVF option
    3. Better AF
    4. If built in grip, make it better like Canon/Nikon, optional grip will be better

What would you like to see?

I like your thoughts. Add 150-200 MP sensor. I am not eager for a stacked sensor, but there are rumors about that, too.

Looks like it would be a solid upgrade with improved EVF. 150mp+ wouldn’t hurt.

Jim, what would be concerns with the stacked sensor?

I think it will add cost and could increase noise, and I don't care about the speed. Regardless of what Fuji says, I don't think the world is waiting with bated breath for a 33x44 mm sports camera.

At lower ISOs like 100-200, would there be noticeable noise increase? To me AF improvements will mean more people willing to buy it and use it where they would currently use FF cameras.

Hard to say, but if they build it, I'll probably test it.

A little OT, but what is the use case for such a high resolution MF camera? It is cool zooming in on those high res pics, but when is that resolution actually needed?

I’m encouraged by the info that this is a GFX 100 “replacement” rather than 100”s”. Hopefully enabling use of tilt-adapter and some of the other nice features of the GFX 100 such as the sub-monitor LCD which I like and use a lot.

What's needed is less aliasing. The GFX 100x still aliases noticeably in some circumstances, though it's better than the GFX 50x. If the GF lenses were a lot worse, it wouldn't be a problem. 😉

    Hi,

Does anyone think that the GF lenses will cover the larger sized Sony 150 MP MF sensor?

I am under the impression that they won't. But it'd be great if they did.

Or is there another 150 MP MF 44*33mm sensor I don't yet know about?

I'm hoping for a bespoke 33x44 mm one with finer pitch than 3.76um.

why sports ? may be in fashion some people 'd appreciate few FPS off 150mp camera ? 5+ fps might require effort - no ?

No reason that I can think of why stacking should affect the way lenses work. Hasn't with Sony and Nikon.

Return to using low pass AA filters? Or implement Pentax style sensor shaker AA?
