I have played a bit with Custom hold settings and I'm wondering how the last entry is functioning.
[v] AF On = On/Off
Remark 1: I'm using BBF (on AEL-Button) and 'Focus hold Botton' to activate Custom hold settings. For the following the Custom hold settings are activated i.e. the 'Focus hold Button' is pressed.
Remark 2: BBF is not possible. The shutter button must be activated for AF (before).
If I set [ ] AF On = On or [ ] AF On = Off it seems to have no effect, but the custom hold setting of [v] Focus Mode determines the AF/MF behavior.
So what is [v] AF On = On/Off for?

Edit:
[v] AF On = Off turns AF off independent of the other custom hold settings - and
[v] AF On = On turns AF on as soon as the 'Focus hold Button' is pressed! I.e. I can stay with my BBF settings as the 'Focus hold Button' works like the BBF in this case (AF on Shutter Button can stay disabled).
Upon selecting 'Edit' I can only 'Edit reply' - why? There was no Replay yet.
