Many thanks to Bobn2 and colleagues for moving so quickly on this. I'll post my spreadsheet link again

The link below provides access to two spreadsheets that can be used as an aid to setting up your RX10 IV. I've no idea if they are of any value to anyone else, but they certainly helped me to get a better understanding of the many options that Sony provide. Anyway, they are free for anyone to download and use

There's an ODB version and a Microsoft Excel version. Right click on the appropriate file to download

    All thoughts/comments welcome

This is as much a test of my ability to post which has been erroring out. Thanks for posting this sheet here. Good to get real content going.

Thanks for sharing this against. I downloaded it from the DPR site, but I’ll do so again. Great resource.

For fast-moving subjects, you have Lock On AF with a sub-option of wide. I find that expand flexible spot small works best because it gives me control over what I want to lock on to.

Thanks. Yes, it's still a matter of experimenting with what works best in different circumstances. Not trying to say my (current) settings are correct/perfect - I just needed something to help me visualise the options & interdependency between options. And when I'd done it, I just thought it may also be useful for others

The wide option works best with bif against the sky where the bird is the only subject

    Thanks Tim,
I’m sure many will benefit from your work.
I downloaded it from the DPReview site recently just in case.

Brandon - the versions linked to here have been updated to sort (some of) the issues with converting between .odb & .xlsx - so I'd recommend downloding again
