This past Saturday, and over morning coffee, my wonderful granddaughter, gifted me the first camera I bought her when she was about 9 or 10. I asked a few years back, if I could buy it back off her, now that she has the Nikon D5500, but I got the ice-cold stare, that only females are capable of giving. I am talking about the Samsung EX2F with the 1.4F Schneider-Kreuznach lens. Image stabilised too!
She is a hoarder, but I may add, one with tender love and care. She prides her possessions, even from early childhood, and everything she owns is most preciously cared for. Now at 19 years, she is at uni, and her time is given to study, study, study. Photography? She might now have to look that word up in the dictionary.
As good fortune would have it, the battery charged fine, and the button cell is holding date time and settings. A huge relief. And today, the sun beckoned, so I sallied forth to a local attraction; a boating pool, and across the other side of the main road, a sizeable garden centre. Here are a few samples from today’s experience. Ah! Now I am stuck. I cannot see how to post an image from off my desktop PC.
