Over time I gave up posting stuff on my Blogs and posted my photographic thoughts on the various DPR forums. Who ever imagined that Amazon were about to pull the plug.
I have found I can copy and paste with minimal intervention some ot the article like threads I started on DPR directly into my Blog, pictures included.

the 45 perspective looked the best to me.
Agreed the 45 was the most natural looking shot, closely followed by the 35mm shot.
I have just reposted an infamous thread that got me banned by an arsehole we both despise.

You are not loyal to one brand!!!11 That’s the biggest sin you can commit.
Most people are just jealous, things get even worse on Leica forums where people trash talk a camera they think they can’t afford (as if there was any magic to a Leica, haha).
I didn’t read your thread back then, but just read it today on your blog post. The little you wrote sound like rational and reasonable argumentation, and what’s most important here, I really like your style and some of the photographs. Nice eye & you know your tools.

I wanted to save some other posts and threads I posted, but the DPR Titanic is already slipping below the waves and posts are often missing photographs. Looks like all our forum posts are destined to disappear very soon.
Why do you think that? They did an update recently where they confirmed that there will be an archive available.
I have put together a few Blog posts on my blog with material taken from my DPR posts .
At least my thoughts have a chance of a second life plucked out of an ocean of forum posts.
I thought…although why I don’t recall, that the editorial content would stay, the the forum postings would be ditched. I guess they could leave it all up. That said, forum posts I made 15 or 20myears ago are hardly valuable or even worthwhile at this point.
