This is a circumarctic plant which further south exists at progressively higher altitudes. I'd spent a lot of Kodachrome on it about 1981 but finally found the time and inclination to shin up Pen-y-Gent in North Yorkshire. It isn't easy to get to, one hand for the camera, one for the rucksac and one hand to hang on to the rock. Modern automation makes it possible with one hand. X-H2, 80mm and the tiny flash they bundle with the X-E3.
