A Mooloolaba tourist attraction and animal welfare place. Injured marine animals that can't be returned to the wild can enjoy a comfortable life here.

The artificial light is a bit challenging and far from my usual subjects.

A nice set Dicky. I enjoy aquariums. The ones we have visited have all been fairly crowded.

I haven't been in an aquarium in decades. I suspect you have a lot more than we do. I especially like the pictures of the girl(?) and the shark(?).

Nice! ... I always enjoy a trip to the aquarium and we have any number close. I tend to get to one once a decade and will go back in 6 years from now, I think it is, if I keep on schedule! ... I do like the pictures here, particularly that last one .. I also tend to take more pictures of people at the aquarium than the fish ...

A very enjoyable set, Dicky. Pictures are always better with a child in them. I wouldn't feed Millie to the fish, she's too cute, but I might tickle her short ribs. Rich

It was a fairly quiet day; I could have done a much better job if I'd pumped up the ISO. But the glass distorts so much the sharks all looked odd shaped.

Me too. In the old days they were full of stuffed white pointers, so it was great to see creatures of the shallow reefs enjoying an untroubled life.

Thanks Charlotte, the little girl is my granddaughter; she's going through the terrible twos but is just starting to appreciate nature and enjoys a joke. She now has quite a few words to say but her favourite is "no!'.

Thanks WN, yes - I should have taken more pictures of the visitors. The looks on children's faces and even adults should have been captured 😁

Children always steal the show. Many years ago when we took our son to a wildlife park up in the far north he came close to wearing the plastic bucket at the crocodile feeding show. Little Millie is growing up so quickly, but it is still an age to treasure.

If I was a Brown-headed Bamboo shark in a tank I wouldn't want to pose for tourists either.
