    Not the usual color photos available for this vessel but scanned negative black and white film. (Photo was taken on christmas day 2023)

    Canon Eos 1V with Canon EF 24-105 F4L IS USM and Ilford XP2 Super 400 developed at home with Cinestill Cs41

    One of the largest crane vessels, only the SSCV Sleipnir is larger and also owned by Heerema

    Sleipnir lift Capacity 20,000 metric tons
    Thialf lift capacity 14,200 metric tons

    The Sleipnir is at the moment somewhere near Walvis Bay, Namibia, while the Thialf is undergoing some maintenance at the the Landtong (Europoort - Rotterdam) Netherlands

    I am guessing the hourly rate to hire that thing would be expressible in terms of my yearly income.... 😳
