GB saw the oof knee as a flaw, not me. I said it is annoyingly distracting for me.

I didn't make the same assumption as you did regarding the movie 50 Shades of Grey and Daneland sees no connection between the movie title you suggested and his image

He also he did not expect viewers to make that connection.

I posted my opinions of his image based on how I see it, not on some movie he says has no connection to his image.

Once again Dan you are carefully and misleadingly selected your quote and think you have made a point. Re read what Daneland said about the title and then look at what I said.

    I disagree as posted earlier.

Perhaps you could explain how you think the plot of the movie has anything to do with Daneland's image. I see no connection at all between the movie plot and Daneland's image.

Y'all are quibbling too much, in my opinion. For some, the near leg being outside the DOF is a distraction, for others it is not (or even a bonus). That's all there is to it, really. It's like food -- some might think something's too spicy, others think it's just right. Different aesthetics. It's not like politics where there's an actual right answer and wrong answer. 😁

That is exactly the point I was making as well.

I posted I saw the oof knee as annoyingly distracting and some here didn’t like how i see it.

You said the oof knee is a flaw and some didn't like that either.

A cropped edited version looks better to me, but that's just me. Others here wouldn't like it for sure.

As I sit viewing the approx 500x330 px image on my screen, the DOF includes most of the image including all the boots and the lady's left leg.

So it is that the infamous 'oof knee' looks quite OK to me.

On my screen only what's between and including the second boot from the front to the 4th boot, including the 4th boot, is acceptably sharp. Everything forward of and including the nearest boot and beyond the last boot are too blurry for me to see them as being within the DOF.

Incidentally, the area of interest does have 240 Shades of Gray with a Standard Deviation of 60.

Don't, whatever you do, actually tell us the screen pixel size of the image you are viewing or the amount of zoom.

I clicked on the attached image icon in Daneland's post and opened it in my browser in a new tab. I didn't download the image to check the pixel size of the attached image.
