A cloudy beach day. Full spectrum camera with a B+W orange (550nm) filter, mix of Lightroom for most adjustments plus a stop in Photoshop for channel mixer and hue adjustments.
A tree and some local geology. Canon M6, 590nm. Testing out a different ef-s 18-135mm, this time the STM model. The lens does not have good sharpness at the extreme ends of the zoom range but from about 24 - 100mm is pretty good. I'll take that but I definitely notice the increase in weight compared to my other lenses. Still, I appreciate the fact that I can go compact with the M6 / 22mm when I want.
This reminds me of a recent trip to Horseshoe Canyon in Alberta, Canada. Full spectrum conversion, dark red (630nm) filter, most post production in LR with channel swap and hue refinement in PS.
Yes, in fact, you can take a tour of that very facility nowadays. I was able to take one several years back with the local photography club. Such a great look back into history.
I recently had a GX85 converted by Kolari to 590nm. Here is a shot taken on one of the few days we've had any sun. I wanted to see what the snow would do. Mt.Hood from Gresham, OR.
I think this was around the time I decided to really start exploring false colour infrared. Capture here is with a full spectrum conversion and 720nm filter, and even the weak colours here were enough to inspire me to play with some different filter options.
