It's continuing to be cloudy/hazy these days, so here's another from the archives. Amsterdam with a full-spectrum conversion and a 630nm filter, post-processing in ACR and Photoshop for channel mixer and hue refinement.

IMO you have a pretty severe blue color cast going on. Here's what I did with some level adjustments and color balance. It may not be perfect but gives you an idea of what I think is closer to the correct color.

There is no correct colour in infra red, but I agree it makes a more pleasing image with the blue turned down a bit.

Can you give us some details on this shot? Filter used, and processing? I like the end result!

My new full spectrum camera is here! The old GF2 was one of my first m4/3 cameras and has served me well over the years but it was time for something a little more modern. I'm still getting used to Olympus ergonomics but so far I'm loving the output. Full spectrum conversion with a blue/IR filter, three photo panorama stitch all processed in Lightroom.

    Sorry, I missed your question!

Sigma SD1 with the removable UV/IR blocker out, Probably the 17-50mm zoom. No filter on the lens, so full-spectrum shot.

Converted to RGB by RawDigger and then messed with in RawTherapee; didn't save the PP3 sidecar file and don't remember what I did, sorry. Might have WB'd on the light gray transformer.

Silly question, was this during the fall of the year, with fall colors? No filter, messing with WB, and it looks like fall.....

I believe the SD1 uses a Foveon sensor rather than a more normal Bayer filter. With this set-up IR shows mainly in the red channel. This alternate IR mapping is what I use a couple of ancient SD14s for. :)

    Now, that would explain it!

I use my foveon camera in a slightly different way, adding a #58 (green) filter, to the sort of arrangement used by @xpatUSA. This filter reduces the IR by about 50% (other #58 filters differ here!) using a fluorescent WB correction & then minor hue adjustment in post, I get results like this:

Thanks! This filter is still new enough to me that I'm playing with conversion options but I adore this palette.

Very cool! One of these days I'm going to do a comparison thread of all of my capture options to see the possibilities- I'd been largely uninspired by the full-spectrum results in my last camera (Bayer mask, not sure if it makes a difference) but this is definitely inspiration to take a closer look and see if I can find something that resonates with me.
