Anybody here has some experience with this bag?
I am travelling across Vietnam and passing by Cambodja in august, which means every day I risk a summer shower.
This bag seems to provide suitable space and protection for such a trip, and it is carry on sized.
The question is, what can it hold with the medium DSLR core. I will for sure be bringing a z9+24-70/2.8 and a z7+14-30.
I am not sure if there is space for anything else in it as lenses.I am still considering bringing a tele or telezoom depending on size and maybe the CV40/1.2 just in case

    Thanks.

Just recently returned from a 2 week trip in Asia, I too had the 35L with medium DSLR core, in there I had Z9, 400/4.5, 2470 2.8, 1.4x tele, Hasselblad X2D. I also got a mini cube from another brand(wandrd) on top to fit more camera gear but was used about 60%, the rest was spare storage for shopping. Over all my advice is to cut more weight...I didn't have to carry the 400/4.5 and 1.4x tele, only used when I had a rental car. daily carry 2470 should do.

Thanks.MY experience so far (using my old trusty kata) is that the two camera with mounted lens set-up wioll cover basically 95% and whatever i bring extra is for conscience :-)
    Was the bag comfortable?
I just noticed Peak has also a nice bag that could be interesting. MY only interest in replacing the kata is to actually have side openings, empty space for non gear and better water resistance (as we will have heavy short rains burst while there)

The Shimoda bag is really good actually, my last bag was the peak design 45L travel bag, Shimoda is way way more comfortable. The harnesses are a completely different experience, not only you have 2 handy pockets, the thickness and width is unmatched. Shimoda side access isn't too bad, some say it only opens from one side, but once you are used to it, its totally fine.

Also my logic of switching from PD to Shimoda is the that the main zips do not carry much weight, I don't get why there are still companies have harnesses on the same piece as the zip, if the zip fails, everything falls out. not saying its likely but it sure puts A LOT of weight on those zips.

    Hope this helps.
