Should we have a meet up at the NEC Photo show?

From thr 14th-17th March 2026 (That's Saturday until Tuesday), there's a photographic show at the NEC in Birmingham. Would that be a good time to have a meet up and a chat? I'll post a poll.

I presume that after all that anticipation you went. How was it? Please give us a report of what you found there.

It was very interesting. Loads of trade shows. Loads of stages with people talking about things. Obviously, I spent some time on the fuji stand. I also listened to some of the free talks. The one on multi exposure was great and I've learned a new technique I intend to try sometime.

I chatted to a few of the manufacturers there. Some seemed to know what they were talking about, others not so much.

I purchased a pair of gloves and nearly bought a Fuji X-Half (but managed to restrain myself). I tested out a tily lens fro TTArtisans but it didn't shift so I didn't buy it.

It was busy but not so crowded that I couldn't see what was going on. I got round it all in about 5 hours but could have stayed longer if my feet weren't getting tired.

I would go again if it was at the NEC, but next year it's in London and it's too far for me. So, 2 years time.
