This is not a real tree, but I find the image more enterprising that most of the lights in the streets here, most of which seem to me very generic.

This tree is in front of the Wiener Rathaus (Vienna Town Hall), where there is a Christmas Market in progress. 80 years old, 85 centimetres (33.5") trunk diameter, 34 metres (110 ft) high spruce (Fichte) from Rastenfeld in Lower Austria, about 100km (62 miles) from Vienna.

The other side of the Ringstrasse, in front of the Burgtheater, I stopped to talk with a lady who was turning the handle of a small organ with perforated rolls which had Christmas tunes cut into them. The pipes were well in tune and made a sweet sound. Some of the figures actually danced.

Here's another smaller Christmas tree I found a few days ago. It was raining a little. I like to take photos at that time, where we can see the reflections from the wet surfaces.
