This is the weekly Show Your Pictures thread where we invite you to show your own pictures, whether they be ordinary or extraordinary. I'll be sure to comment about your photos, if you choose to share. When you are posting your own images please submit them as a reply to this post. Otherwise your pictures may be overlooked. You might also consider describing your pictures in the subject title (I'm not sure we can do this now). See my own photos for this week as a reply. Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each other and it's fun to share too. Thanks everyone for your participation.

This is open to all camera systems and skill levels.

As a suggestion while this DPRevived photography forum is under the early stages of development, resizing the images to a smaller size is a good idea. Also when replying to someone's pictures, try to remember to delete the copy (quote) of their images. This will save some space too.

    Hi Digirame,

Super set of your Spring flowers, No. 9 sure looks like a rhododendron flower, you have a good selection there.

    On the coast.

    Hi all,

We've seen some good weather of late although that's about to change, so they say.

    Hi Mocha,

I just love seeing the coastline with the blue sky. That's a good capture of the Goldfinch. It's got a little red color too. I don't think we have that type of bird in Oregon. I like the white-purple flower. It's nice to see the flowers with a little design or pattern on them. Of course, we always like to see herons fishing. :-)

    Hi Foskito,

Yes, that's how we set it up, as others have done on different forums, as long as it's cool with DPRevived. :-)

    Hi Digirame,

Rhododendrons along the Canal, although the date the photo was taken (Late May) gives you an idea of our time frames in the North West of England.

    Hi Digirame, Thank You.

We've had some Sun around just lately but things are about to change with some high winds about early this week.

Ah yes, the American Goldfinch has far more yellow than the UK one with no red around the head.

The Herons don't seem to mind salt water and I see them fishing in harbours at times as well as fresh water.

What do you think of this? I originally meant to do a backlit shot, but the sun was too bright... this is what I got. I'm not honestly sure if I like it or not.

    Dunlin,

We see that the leaves are brown in the spring. We have at least one deciduous tree like that where I live, where the brown leaves don't fall until spring, when they are "pushed out" with green leaves. Those are pretty pink tree blossoms.

The next picture with the sun is dramatic with lots of contrast. For that, I liked it. If the subject matter were better, with a silhouette of a person or plane etc., then it might have been better. But the artistic part of that image is excellent. It's bright and catches our attention.
