Hi Digirame,
You're right, there's a bit of ironing out to do just yet, we just have to be patient :-)

Forget the exif. That's one badass sheep.

Steve,
Yeah, I still find the EXIF data changing all of the time. I agree...let's give the programmers some more time. It will be neat when it's fixed.
A couple of shots done i grainy black and white. I deliberately cranked up the contrast to maximmum, just to see what it looked like.
Yup. They're grainy alright.
One done in Soft Focus:
One just in Standard. Shot at 5600 Kelvin.
OH MY GOD! WHO SHOT THE HORSE?
Sorry for the blur. He just flopped over and startled me.
Steve Thomas
Nice. It's always good to experiment.
Does your 850D do bracketing of processing effects? My Olympus can, but I can't remember if my Canon 7D could.
Steve,
That's great you are playing around with the camera. Is the horse alright? Why did the horse fall over?
Dig,
Yeah, he's aright. Just wanted to scratch an itch, I think.
Thing was, I was framing a shot, and all of a sudden, :"poof", down he went. I jumped and my finger pressed down on the shutter button involuntarily.
I let out a laugh.
Dunlin,
As far as exposure bracketing, it does in a few circumstances like HDR and HDR Backlit Control, which blend three consecutive shots into one picture. It's got exposure compensation bracketing, but that's three separate shots.
Steve Thomas
.
Thanks for the reply Steve.
I actually meant how the camera processes the shot; e.g. in your post "Soft focus". My Olympus calls them ART filters.
If I'm feeling lazy, I can shoot as RAW and then batch process it automatically, in-camera, to 20 different ART filters and then pick and choose.

Dunlin,
I think the "Soft Focus" is one of the Creative Filters Effects in the 850D, along with HDR, fish eye, grainy black and white, etc.
I think there's about 8 of them.
The 850D has in-camera raw processing, but I've never explored it.

Might be worth a try. At the very least you could adjust the WB.

Dunlin,
Yeah, that's one of the options.
A while back, I learned that you can adjust your WB ahead of time. Just put your WB in Kelvin and turn on Live View. Hit your Q button and select your WB setting. Using your main wheel, or your arrow keys, you can adjust it up or down and see the effect before you take your shot.
