    Don,

Thanks for letting me know about the Grape Hyacinths. I see them a lot near where I live. They are quite pretty to see in the spring.

    Mocha,

I like seeing your flowers. I again took pictures of tulips closeup like your last photo, this time using F13 and F14. I wanted to compare them to my F11 images.

    Hi Digirame, Thank You.

Just recently I have been using higher F stops because of the latest softwares that remove noise in RAW photos, the results are amazing. The Canon 7D mk II was never the best in that department so to me it's like buying a new camera and having the benefits that the 7D mk II camera gives me.

Thanks for the discussion and photo thread. This week I've primarily been using the Canon 5DS with either 24-105mm or trying out the Tamron 28-300mm. Full specs are on the flickr photos. A large wisteria plant was my favored subject. This is a Tamron shot @ 300mm 1/60 f/13 ISO400

    Subject: More Tulips

In the last few days with lots of sunshine in Oregon I was able to take some pictures of tulips like this. I used a very small aperture to capture a great depth of field, from F13 to F16. I wasn't too concerned with lens diffraction. I hope you like these.

The purple one especially stands out well.
