This is the weekly Show Your Pictures thread where we invite you to show your own pictures, whether they be ordinary or extraordinary. I'll be sure to comment about your photos, if you choose to share. When you are posting your own images please submit them as a reply to this post. Otherwise your pictures may be overlooked. See my own photos for this week as a reply. Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each other and it's fun to share too. Thanks everyone for your participation.

This is open to all camera systems and skill levels.

As a suggestion while this DPRevived photography forum is under the early stages of development, resizing the images to a smaller size is a good idea. Also when replying to someone's pictures, try to remember to not include the copy (quote) of their images (if you don't need to do this). This will save some space too.

Hi all. I've been having some trouble with this site when I tried to post 10 images. The first time it would only let me embed 6 out of my 10 images. Then I tried to post 4 photos, and the reply button would not work. So, I'll just start with two photos and come back later and see if there has been any improvement.

    Adventurer,

That's a good looking dove. That reminds me of our Oregon Mourning Dove.

Did you have a tough time posting, as I did? Can you embed the photo?

    Hi Digirame,

Brewser's Blackbird looks really good, exposures spot on and the Dandilion looks good too. I've always seen white ducks as 'bred in captivity'. I've heard the Mallards sometimes are bred this way and escape into the wild.

    Hi everyone,

first time posting in this thread - hope I got that right and it's okay for me to post some images here I shot with my trusty EOS R5 + various adapted vintage/industrial lenses.

Here's one I took with a projection lens, a Braun Ultralit PL B-MC 85 mm f/2.8 (a triplet with variable aperture):

Looks great - very good detail and I like the angle + the strong impression of the color on the dark background! 👍 I barely ever shoot at f/16, so this is a good reminder that it's worth it not to rule that out.

    Capturing the Blue.

The humidity was really low this morning, and I wanted to capture the blue, if I could. I also wanted to see how this 18-135mm lens handled 18mm. (I hardly ever shoot at that focal length).
    Daylight white balance. 5200K.
