I'll start with one older image from my trusty SD14. Nothing of artistic value, but yellow it is :)

I tried to process them in a similar manner, but with no attempt at an exact match

DP3 Q has deeper color, I like that 👍
Yellows are hard for older Sigmas (like mine) - they tend to overexpose them. Or rather I'm not able to set correct exposure sometimes.
Well, I got overexposed yellows with my new X100v toy too - and no headroom to rescue them :( Needs to go out with SD14 again :)
My 2 photos above were taken of plants in a planter at the visitors center at Big Meadows on Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Natl. Park, Virginia. Luckily there wasn't direct sun shining on them; that especially poses the blown highlight problem. The colors on the flickr photos have much more 'punch' than what shows on this forum in these uploaded 'large' versions. The seedhead in the DP3Quattro is really finely detailed when viewed on flickr. That's why I like to upload large photos LOL.
added: I've had more trouble with whites, as in white azaleas, this season. Haven't taken a decent photo of our blazingly white azaleas with any camera I've tried.

For my SD14 ISO 200 helps greatly too.
What camera (this and previous image) you used? Exif is not present :(

I'm not sure what the point is of showing the limitations of Raw Therapee. How about posting the same image correctly processed in SPP ?

Arvo, perhaps we should try a 'red' thread too and request no flowers. No rules, just ask readers to think of and post their favorite non-floral
red images. That might stir up some interest.
