No particular point and "ho ho" meant tongue-in-cheek. It's "RawTherapee" by the way.

How about posting the same image correctly processed in SPP ?

Sorry, I don't understand what is meant by "correctly".

Here's the same X3F opened in RawDigger showing the same limitation of the DP2 Merrill ...

Arvo, since I will take both the DP2Merrill and DP3Quattro soon to Hawaii, I should compare favored settings for the 2 cameras. In line with Laurence Matson's opinions on Merrill-sensor ISO, I have often shot the Merrills at ISO125 to ISO200. I have many thousands of DP2Merrill photos, so I know how it behaves and processes in SPP. In contrast I've only shot a couple hundred with the Quattro-sensor camera. Hmm, hope the rain stops here.

Arvo, perhaps we should try a 'red' thread too and request no flowers. No rules, just ask readers to think of and post their favorite non-floral
red images. That might stir up some interest.

Not yet :) Let's try in June.
Of course we can start parallel threads with different themes, just running two color themes in parallel would be somewhat strange. IMO.

This 'no flowers' was meant more like joke - I don't wish to exclude any beautyful images, flowers or not.
'No cats' was serious :) Well, if you have taken images of real yellow cats - you can share them without problem.

Show us how it looks when opened in SPP. I somehow don't believe that SPP does not apply lens/color corrections :)

Sure, red for June sounds good. We first had written about a monthly theme thread (spring, you suggested) To be contrarian myself, I pointed out that it is now autumn for posters south of the equator.

I simply meant red is a good color (too= also) for a monthly thread.

Post here your images, taken anytime with any Sigma camera and showing something yellow.
Thread will be open for entire May, 2023; for next month we find some other color.

If we would like to go beyond the six well-defined primary/secondary hues, may I suggest that color-names be chosen from the periphery of this color-circle:

Looking at the above tells me that my previous posts have orange objects, not "yellow", duh!

No rose or pink color here? No go then.
Maybe we should create thread just for theme color suggestions? Although because June will be red, we have more time to discuss :)

Yay! The sun is shining :-)

Photograph made during a roadtrip in 2008. Camped in a field at night not knowing that i was surrounded by cheerful sunflowers for company!

    Beautiful photograph Don!

One of my fav. flowering trees! We call them "Amaltas" here in India. The northern parts that is :-) ...every state has its own name in the local language.

The flowers indicate that summer has arrived! And therefore it happens to be in bloom these days!

    No cats, please :)

I'll start with one older image from my trusty SD14. Nothing of artistic value, but yellow it is :)
