Just messing with X-H2s and no shutter speed in viewfinder, turned to to be that I had set dynamic range to auto.
Why would I not need to know my shutter speed it don't make sense to me

I don't own and have never used a Fuji of any kind but the thread title drew my attention because I dislike auto-anything!
So I looked up their auto Dynamic Range just see what it was. Found this:
