We've had storm after storm in the last 3 months. The brief clearings between have given some great skies. Here are a few recent ones.
9 panel pano about a 180° pan. Woodley Island Marina looking SSW OM1 mz 12-100, 12mm
The Sun circles are not uncommon here, but rarely a full, perfect one. I could not see it all with naked eye. The camera could see it all and I could with dark sunglesses. om1 mz 8-25, 8mm
6 vertical panel panorama looking over the deserted Hawklands from Singley Hill. om1 mz 12-100, 12mm
Same place as above, different day. om1, mz 8-25, 16mm
Another one from Gill's garden. om1 mz 8-25, 8mm
Scenic Drive along Trinidad Bay looking south. It's the old stagecoach road, the original Pacific Coast Highway. You can see Humboldt Bay through the hole in the trees, about 25 miles south. It is one of the best places for photography around here. The Pacific keeps taking bites out of it and the state fixes it back up, as best they can. The northern stretch was closed by a storm a few years ago and never reopened. I didn't think, back 50 years ago, that it would last through my lifetime. It looks like the southern stretch will. om1 mz 8-25, 8mm
Part of a Sun circle looking SW from up on Table Bluff. om1, mz 8-25, 10mm, 1/32000, f/5
