    As always, a superb level of detail. How many shots have you stacked?

    the original stack was 245 but i only stacked 175 as the web would shield the spider, not bad for shooting through the web.

    245 is a lot of shots, how do you get her to stay still for that long? Do you make her read one of those old and endless Dan&Don threads? 😄

    That would take away the look i was after, i wanted a smooth dreamy look. didnt want to much contrast with this shot, normally i would have pushed the blacks just before total black but not this shot.

    Seeking refuge.

    In the morning they are seen hovering over the surface of the water, or perched on the vegetation on the shore. In the afternoon, it seems that they go a little further in, seeking the protection of the tallest and thickest grass areas, which is where I found this specimen...
