Very mysterious. Reminds me of broken wires. It almost looks like it was shot in fog. Doubt that is true.
    Thanks for sharing,
    barondla

No fog but the first part (wire) is true and indeed part of the item shown.

Is it some form of plant emerging out of water?

Interesting thought. There's no water though... it's just lighting and a lens reacting to it. The material is artificial as you can see from the answer above.

By the way, looking at its front, it seems that this specimen has had some unpleasant encounter...

Impressive captures. Looks like it has a hole in its head. How can it function like that?
    Thanks for sharing,
    barondla

Yes, it's a shame, it seems that it has lost that part of the head, which is also usually very characteristic of each species. Functionally it didn't seem to affect it, it behaved normally: in fact I only realized the problem when seeing the enlarged image on the screen...

This is not really interesting in terms of detail captures (it was taken with a reversed projection lens after all 😉) but it is quite close and was intended for people to guess what it is:

I like it mainly because it tells a little story. I'm sure I had seen the flowers from afar and it's almost there: the only thing missing is a little last push...
