Very nice elegant lighting - well done!
Very good detail. Was it a single shot or focus stacked?

Thank you!

Good shot! I especially like how the silk thread and the tips of the legs are in focus and you can see in detail how the spider grips...

Nice! For the blurred background, have you used a mask, or is it just your “strange” lenses 😄?

Indeed... a strange lens it is! The V-Cassarit is a tiny enlarging lens by Steinheil.
Another Vespa velutina. Hell, there are thousands of them...
You need some Eastern Honey Bees...
Wikipedia:
"When an A. cerana hive is invaded by the Japanese giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia)(also the Asian Hornet), about 500 Japanese honey bees (A. cerana japonica) surround the hornet and vibrate their flight muscles until the temperature is raised to 47 °C (117 °F), heating the hornet to death, but keeping the temperature still under their own lethal limit (48–50 °C)."
Processed in ON1 to remove noise. Decided to try the Brilliance AI setting. I am not 100% with it but it does some interesting things.
Wow! beautiful specimen, nice pose, detail, a soft and colorful background... a very good job!
