Some Ideas about site

Current discussion at thread "where we go from here" goes out of topic start question, so I try to share my personal thoughts
1) Now DPRV is a just forum. Clicking to DPRevived icon send to forum, clicking to Home also send to Forum, and clicking to Forums also sent to the same forum page. So it' good point to start moving on. Forums is good, but may be not enough to build something unique with personal look.
2) There exist some good and useful topics, writen by skilled photographers. Such articles is Gem of dprv. But it hard to find it for site users especially new site users.
3) I think that First Home Page must be not forum, but a something like journal Page with links to most interesting and valuable articles. And also weeks gallery of users photo chosen from week photo gallery posts from subthreads.
Realisation 2 and 3 need some site editors activity to choose most interesting topics and converting it to articles and of course programming.
At least in my opinion dprv content become more attractive, site users be attracted to first page content creation and express themself as a part of interesting community

Yes! Homepage is a good place to be a window to the best dprv community ideas, articles, hot topics, suggestions and of course - community photo gallery. Like Map of the DPRevived sea :)
