Some Luxemburg photos shot on film

We did spend our summer holiday in Luxemburg this year (2023) and offcourse we took some analog gear with us
One Canon Eos 1V and one Canon Eos 3 were packed and used, The Eos 1V was used for B/W and the Eos 3 for C41(color)
Used a few different films during the weeks we were in Luxemburg

The Haardhaff ruine. Don't know what its purpose used to be, but the allied forces have used it as a encampment back in 44/45
During the Battle of the Bulge there were U.S. Artillery positions to defend the front line on the Sauer.

These were shot on Rollei Retro 400S Developed back at home with Ilfosol 3 (1:9)

These were shot on Ilford Delta 400 Developing was done with Caffenol-C-L at 22c and stand developing for 50 minutes:

An old sign in the woods, found this one whole hiking in the Mullerthal region in Luxemburg
Used one of our Canon Eos 3 cameras and the Canon EF 35mm F1.4L USM
The Camera was loaded with some Film Washi X 100 a maskless C41 ISO 100 color film.
Developing was done back at home with Cinestill Cs41

I wasn't sure about the colors at first, but looking at a bigger version I actually think it works pretty well with the contrast between the (very bright) highlights in the back and the well defined and textured sign. Well done!

Colors are different, but that's also the thing I like with this film. Normal C41 colorfilm has an orange base/mask. This film doesn't it has a clear base.
Film Washi X 100 is actually respooled Kodak Aerocolor IV negative film 2460. (fresh stock, factory slitted and perforated in 35mm)
It's a colour negative film designed for aerial surveillance. Not for public consumption so to say, but a few companies (Film Washi, Santa Film and a few more) have ordered bulk and respooled it and made it available for normal use.
