Looking for a bit of help getting my ninja v working properly with my a9.
Got hold of the two so that I could record 1080p video in the atomos while shooting full res stills in camera with the blackout-free shutter. This essentially works, but the 1080p footage that is output is substantially worse than when the camera is set to movie mode. There seems to be a ton of aliasing and moire that just isn't there as soon as you switch out of a photo mode.
Just wondering if anyone happens to know of a workaround, I get that this is a pretty niche use case but I've exhausted all options I can find myself. I can provide images of this if that helps.
The only two ways I can imagine it working are by forcing it to output better quality during stills shooting or overriding the shutter block that's in place during video mode. Not sure if either of these are possible.
