Beautiful Maine Coon!!! I have a male who I adopted from the pound. Theo is about 15 years old and is missing an eye. He is a very sweet boy. Please give hugs and kisses to your baby from me!!

Nice photo of that very handsome boy!!
Cute photo!! My guys think they have it rough when food isn't served on their time schedule.
A very beautiful female red tabby!!!
The glimpse of his pink pads adds a whimsical feel to this sweet character study.
Just came across a few pictures of the once sweet kings of the house and garden I would like to add over here. Unfortunately I had to let them go a few years ago allready at the age of 16 and 14.

It's been a busy week for me and I am just "cat"-ching up! :)
Yet another magnificent portrait! The kitty's look seems to be one of attentive awareness to his or her surroundings, but unafraid owing to a deep sense of self assurance. Wonderful!
I can't quite put my finger on what it is that makes the Maine Coon look, but Annie has it in spades! There's no question about her kitty breed. :)
I guess that's one of the funny faces she makes that you mentioned the previous week. She looks a little like we people do sitting in front of the TV. Cute one.
I'm glad to know that Peanut has recovered. Maybe he'll take his recent experience as advice and the next time duck if someone punches back at him. ;) The new lens offers wonderful detail. I really like the reflection of what I assume to be a window that you can see in his eyes.
@Slojoe
I have to wonder how the person who took that kitty garden party photo got them to cooperate like that! In costumes and sitting up besides!! Do you think they edited out that hands that were holding them in place???
You might title it the many moods of Stella, from inquisitive to loving. Yes, they do grow up fast, and their teenage years (months!) are every bit as awkward as our own. They have to grow into the gracefulness that we expect of our kitties, which is what they do in those teen months.
Ruby's name is quite apt with her brilliant red color! The look on her face seems to say that either wants to participate, or she is thinking that she could do a better job of it! :O I hope the sofa is one they've been given for that purpose.
Welcome!
That is certainly a wonderful image with which to memorialize Noelle. If one can capture love in an image I think that you did it. That's what is good about this hobby, we can have the visual reminders that bring back the good memories of our furry friends, and we can share them with others.
Did you post to an external site or did you upload the photo to DPRrevived? If it's an external site maybe it's marked as private?
Willis is back! He just had his annual checkup (He'll be 12 in June) and is exhausted.
It's good to see that Willis made the leap from DPR to DPRv! :) Yes, trips to the vet can be brutal, especially the part about riding in the car and then ending up in this horrible place that even has dogs! He definitely has earned his rest after that. And maybe a round of treats too. ;) Palmer had to endure a trip like that a few weeks ago as well. Unfortunately for him (he's approximately 16) he needs to make a return visit soon. It's all in the interest of his health, but he doesn't seem to believe me when I tell him at. I'm sure Willis has his doubts as well.

I like Binkie's moment of loving self-care in that first one. It's something we don't pay much attention to but is an essential part of their existence. You can almost hear the purring that might have been a part of that activity.
Moppie is a study of the gleam of cat's black fur. The details so often get lost, but not here. It makes you just want to reach out and stroke that shiny head. :)
Happy Tiger
It looks like a moment of pure contentment for Tiger. I hope there was purring too. :)
This is where I miss the threading of DPR. I hope folks can connect the dots in my belated comments.
