Recently when I was going through some folders I came across a photo I didn't remember taking.
This is Lynne's cat Henry. Henry was something of a vagabond. He moved into the garage of a friend of mine when he found out that's where the cat food was kept. ;) When they realized that they had a visitor they took him into the vet and found out that he a had a microchip, but the owner did not respond to phone messages about Henry. At least the chip told them what his name was. Thus, Henry was adopted and stayed with them for several years until they decided to move from the West coast to the East coast. Henry and one of the other kitties didn't get along very well, so they decided to see if he could find another home. At that time Lynne had recently lost her cat Jackie, so I asked her if she'd like another kitty. She jumped at the chance. Henry moved from Northern California to Southern California and lived another seven years there. He was a big loving guy and was very much loved by Lynne and her mom. I took this photo while I was visiting after Lynne's mom died in 2018. It was this week in 2024 that Henry crossed the rainbow bridge.
