Swimming Cormorant

I was sitting on the bank of this dam with a bit of longish grass around me waiting for dragonflies to come along when this Cormorant popped up no more than 5 metres away. He knew I (or something) was there but he didn't panic. And just kept swimming around slowly moving away. I didn't do it justice and didn't get many with good focus - but if I had changed settings I probably would have spooked him.

Nah, they're pretty laid back about people, if they're busy.
What is this thing called "good focus" ?

Very annoying birds, hanging around and stealing my bait if they can, when I am fishing. :)
