Teal and Orange - How About It?

Long ago, I read an amusing tirade against the use of 'Teal and Orange' split-toning used by colorists typically in horror movies:

Anyone here do split-toning, not necessarily Teal and Orange? Or even triple-toning with some intermediate color in the mid-tones?

My daughter looked at this shot and said, "Ah ha, I see you've started to use the "Teal and Orange" process ",

This shot came out of camera more or less "Teal and Orange" without me having to do any special processing ;-)
The light blue robes of the monks and the orange lighting in the tea house, created that "Movie atmosphere in South Korea" all by itself :-)

It may be overused in movies (I haven't watched any in years), but I think there's a good reason for its popularity. It just is very effective and it seems relatively easy to achieve decent results with it!

Wonderful capture! Reminds me of the movie "Waltz with Bashir"... even though the color and feel there is quite different.
