No, that's not what I wanted to do. I'm going to have to try pulling one off my hard drive when I get back to my compute and see if the embed function worrks with videos.
Thanks. It must not work with Vimeo. All I get is the url for the video link. I don't get an image of the video itself like you do. Are you using the Embed function with the upwards facing arrow. or are you using the Insert icon with the two little mountain peaks?
Maybe I'll have to put a video in Dropbox or something?
In another thread, I tried using the embed code that you used to do in DPReview, but that just showed the embed code as text and didn't embed the video either.
I tried to embed a video directly from my computer, and the attempt was rejected because the file was larger than 4mb.
I tried inserting it using the little icon that looks like a mountain range, and all I get is the web address of the Dropbox location.
There's no way of inserting the video itself into the body of my text..
I tried copying the web address and pasting it in the body of my text, and all I get is the url. There's no way of inserting the video into the body of my text..
Oh well.
Here's the video I was trying to work with anyway. Prior members of the DPReview Canon Forum have already seen this.

Hello Steve, from what I see you have the wrong way/link to post from Dropbox.
It doesn't open your video.
From Dropbox you should obtain something like my URL below,
with a dl=0 at the end that allows direct playing on click, if you change it to dl=1 it will force a download, and changing it to raw=1 it will autostart after a click.
