We need a way to get to the end of a thread and/or where we left off reading it.

From the threads view,
For the end of a thread, click on the age text (minutes, hours, days etc) at the far right.
For "new", click on the icon at the far left. I'm not sure I quite understand the logic for that one.Sherm

The icon to the left of a thread takes you to the first unread post (blue means unread posts), on mobile tapping the title does the same.
Note that the forum keeps track of each post (rather than the thread as a whole) and whether you’ve seen it, so this can be problematic in a multi page thread if you’ve not been following along since it started.
The team have added a customisation, a button to mark a whole thread as read is available top-right, but currently only shows on desktop devices (not mobile or smaller screens).
