Norms of acceptable behavior change over time.

In today's western society, we do not define "taking offense" from the point of view of the offender. It is defined from the point of view of the person offended. So if offender thinks they did not offend (intentionally or unintentionally), that does not mean there was no offense.

It just needs a bit of empathy for other people to avoid using offensive language.

If you took the time to get your facts straight you would have seen that I posted elsewhere that my experiences with Mako2011 have been no where near as bad as some have posted here, which is not saying what others have posted is not true.

On one occasion he actually helped me a lot and on some other occasions his behaviour towards me was puzzling and inconsistent but not too bad.
