of cause it does if you take multiple test images ,i dont have time for that i just look at my large monitors and blinkies if i have a hot light thats it.
What double standards? I have always said exposure is the amount of light that struck the sensor per unit area while the shutter was open
Maybe it is in the clubs you go to but it is nonsense to apply that generalisation to every club.
The misconception the exposure triangle teaches is that for a given scene lighting
f/8, 1/200, ISO 400
and
f/8, 1/100s, ISO 200
are the same exposure* when they are clearly not.
They will output the same image lightness but the ISO 400 shot will have had only half the exposure* of the ISO 200 shot, because less light struck the sensor, resulting in a lower SNR causing more visible noise.
All the exposure triangle actually teaches is that for a given image lightness, not exposure*, there is an inverse relationship between any 2 of aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
You can change the image lightness in camera without altering the exposure* and the exposure triangle cannot cope with that fact.
* exposure - amount of light that struck the sensor per unit area while the shutter was open
** optimal exposure - the maximum exposure* within dof and motion blur requirements without clipping important highlights.
*** under exposed - more exposure* could have been added with the DOF and blur constraints still being met without clipping important highlights.
when i have a big shoot on i shoot 8 dancers a day and up to 10 costumes per dancer ranging from pure white to jet black and change my lighting back drops to 4 different configureations. its a total juggling act i can tell you. great fun though. i much prefer the slower days where i will concentrate on a single dancer.
Even if all that was actually true the obvious question is "So what?".
I strongly doubt that is true after the nonsense you posted in your Raw Histogram thread and you spend way, way too much time in forums to be what I would consider a successful 'professional' photographer anyway 🙂
Thats me as well mate. like it or not i use all three settings for every day shooting and if anyone said they didn't then they are not telling the truth.
think i might go for a walk in the exposure now to stretch my legs.🤣
Dear, would you mind turning off the exposure please 😁😵💫
driving in the night. dear you can turn the lights to +10 stops now 🤣
sorry im nuts and on a roll . and i dont drink 🤨or smoke.
aussies have a weird sense of humour .
I think I know the tree. People don't fully understand the elevation change through the corkscrew until they see it in person. I would have loved to have been there to see Zanardi's pass on Herta 20+ years ago.
