The "Cannot Reply" Bug

The Bug Report thread is infected with the same trouble as the others. The third respondent to any thread seems to provoke the dreaded red "error" message, at least some of the time. Probably explains why no threads are growing. Makes no difference whether you use the Quote feature or not, or whether you reply to a response or just to the thread.

I also tried clearing site cookies, then logging back in, which didn't help.

Seems fixed now. It was indeed the email server.
