Yes, often I end up with an empty frame, or the animal's rear end, or a bird's tail, or a kid's trailing foot. I almost always delete such as that, but I happen to be downloading yesterday's shots so here is a photograph of a lovely blue heron who has flown away, and a small blackbird who is taking his abandoned spot.
The Mayflies were out and the fish were jumping ........... I nailed it, ......... well almost. 😁
