Good idea - I'm sure there are wonderful samples for that! @OpenCube probably has done quite a few experiments with reflections.

Floating on a magical lake
As if it was made by an impressionist painter, the lake reflects all those fantastic autumn colours from the forest, while the two fishermen get to float over a magical world of shimmering colours.
One of my favourite shots :-)

I love good reflections. This one was taken at a local lake at an especially interesting sunset, and I didn't have any subject other than dead water lilies.

I would say both.
However you shoot, whatever you post, these are just a reflection of your mind.
The initial idea was how you build "your ideal shot" out of a reflection.
